About the job

We are now looking for a Technical Specialist to the EU Identity Unit. In our unit, we work on issues concerning identity and e-ID in a European context. This means that we are developing a state-owned digital identity wallet so that you, as a Swedish citizen, can own and use your own data both in Sweden and in Europe. We are also creating an ecosystem for digital identity wallets in Sweden. All this while ensuring that the individual's data is protected and privacy is safeguarded. In the team you will join, developers and specialists in digital identity work together on the software development of the digital identity wallet on behalf of Sweden. As a Technical Specialist with the role of Product Owner, you will specifically:

• ensure that the team has good knowledge of and performs work in accordance with the product backlog in line with the assignment's overall roadmap.
• together with the Scrum Master, ensure coordination and management of the team's deliveries and identify collaboration needs with other teams.
• create a holistic view of the overall deliveries in the work with the digital identity wallet together with other product owners in the assignment.

You will work according to agile methods for software development and also actively work with environmental monitoring in the larger European ecosystem for digital identity wallets, ensuring that the team utilizes the open source code available.

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need the following competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Experience and knowledge - requirements

• Experience working in the role of (agile) Product Owner in a development project
• Substantial experience/background in a technical leadership role, e.g., Tech Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar
• Experience with IT security issues in the development and operation of critical infrastructure
• Very good skills in communicating complex issues and transferring knowledge to colleagues
• Ability to work according to roadmaps and prioritize development deliveries

Experience and knowledge - merits

• Experience working with issues in the field of digital identity
• Experience working agile according to SAFe or similar in a larger organization.

Education

You have an engineering or IT education at university/college level or equivalent experience that the employer deems relevant.

Digg and PTS form a joint authority

The Government has decided that Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) will merge into a joint authority from January 1, 2027. The purpose is to strengthen Sweden's digitalization by gathering our competencies in areas such as digital infrastructure, data, and AI in one and the same organization. The joint authority will have a broader mandate and better conditions to contribute to a more cohesive digital society.
